Job Description
A Welding Quality Control (QC) Engineer is a specialized professional responsible for ensuring that all welding operations meet defined quality, safety, and technical standards throughout a project or manufacturing process.
Responsibilities

Inspect welds using visual and NDT methods (UT, RT, MT, PT).

Develop and review WPS, PQR, and welder qualification records.

Ensure compliance with codes such as AWS D1.1, ASME IX, API 1104.

Monitor preheat, interpass temperature, and PWHT.

Prepare NCRs, inspection reports, and quality documentation.

Control material and consumable traceability.

Coordinate with clients, third-party inspectors, and project teams.
