Job Description
A Pipeline Civil QC Inspector is a certified quality control professional responsible for inspecting and verifying all civil works associated with pipeline construction including right-of-way preparation, trenching, pipe laying, backfilling, and reinstatement to ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and approved procedures.
Role and Responsibilities

Pre-Construction Inspection — Verify route survey, right-of-way clearing, and grading.

Trenching Inspection — Monitor trench dimensions, bedding, and shoring compliance.

Pipe Lowering Inspection — Verify pipe lowering, alignment, and grade.

Backfill Inspection — Monitor backfill material, compaction, and testing.

Reinstatement Inspection — Verify surface restoration and reinstatement works.

Crossing Inspection — Inspect road, rail, and watercourse crossings.

Material Verification — Check bedding material, concrete, and geotextile certifications.

NCR Management — Raise, track, and close non-conformance reports.
