Responsibilities

• Inspect insulation material, thickness, and installation on piping, equipment, and vessels.

• Verify compliance with project specifications, datasheets, and applicable standards.

• Review and approve Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) for insulation activities.

• Check surface preparation prior to insulation application.

• Monitor installation of insulation types (thermal, acoustic, personnel protection, fireproofing).

• Verify correct use of insulation materials, jacketing, and cladding.

• Inspect weatherproofing, sealing, and finishing of insulation systems.

• Review material certifications and ensure traceability.

• Raise and manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and corrective actions.

• Coordinate with piping, equipment, and painting QC teams.

• Maintain inspection records and compile final documentation.
