Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor the project's Quality Management System (QMS) for civil works.

• Review and ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and project quality plan (PQP).

• Conduct inspections for civil activities — excavation, formwork, rebar, concreting, blockwork, plastering, waterproofing, finishing works.

• Prepare and process Inspection Requests (IRs), Method Statements, and ITPs (Inspection & Test Plans).

• Coordinate with client/consultant for inspections and obtain approvals (e.g., MIRs, NCRs).

• Witness and verify material testing (concrete cube tests, cement, aggregates, steel, soil compaction, etc.) with approved third-party labs.

• Raise and track Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and ensure timely closure.

• Maintain QA/QC documentation — checklists, test reports, inspection records, punch lists.

• Ensure calibration of testing/measuring equipment used on site.

• Conduct internal audits and support external/client audits.

• Coordinate snagging/de-snagging and final handover documentation.

• Provide toolbox talks/training to site staff on quality standards.
